Gone badass, maybe.

I like it. I'm not in the mood for using a bunch of words to prove my point. I just like it, ok?

What's up with all the staple hole though?

Thanks you three. I almost ditched it prior to getting it here, but since I hate giving up, I pulled out the acrylics.

...that seems to be my MO lately. I wish I could say it was intentional- this pushing things into the ground and almost giving them up for dead, but it's just how things are going lately. There is strategy involved, but it's a little close to the bone.

oh right, the staple holes. That's how I was taught to stretch paper in school. It's just part of the work. It's never occurred to me to cut the edges. Not seriously.

Not bad, not bad at all. You should see what's on my easel right now, yuk. Maybe I'll post it. I am also going through that "pushing things into the ground and almost giving them up for dead". I need to do it to break out to the other side of , 'that's nice, good enough, best I can do right now' thing to a "better place" a place where leaps are being made.

It's over.

Nov 7, 2020. Tears of joy and relief. It's been unreal and I'm ready to get back to a sense of normalcy. The desert has been tough.
